INDÚSTRIA DE RECURSOS… Ricardo Coutinho recorre novamente ao Supremo para tentar reverter inelegibilidade
Mais uma tentativa de Ricardo Coutinho de obter o deferimento de sua candidatura ao Senado. O ex-governador acaba de protocolar um novo recurso extraordinário com agravo, junto ao Supremo Tribunal Federal, contra o Ministério Público Eleitoral, após o indeferimento de sua candidatura.
Trata-se de uma tentativa de reverter recente decisão do Tribunal Regional Eleitoral, que não apenas negou o pedido de registro de sua candidatura, como ainda denegou todos os embargos, em decisão unânime.
Após essa decisão, o ex-governador decidiu recorrer, primeiro ao Tribunal Superior Eleitoral e, agora, novamente ao Supremo, onde já há outros dois recursos.
Um dos recursos está com a ministra Carmen Lúcia, e encontra-se concluso para julgamento, há meses. O outro estava como a ministra Rosa Weber, presidente do STF, que julgou contra seu pedido de ser candidato, por considerar definitiva sua condição de inelegibilidade. Este recurso se encontra, agora, com o ministro Luiz Fux.
Pelo visto, a esperança do ex-governador é levar o STF reverter a decisão da ministra Rosa Weber. Há poucos dias, inclusive, vazou de redes sociais áudio atribuído ao ex-governador, em que critica a Justiça e a mídia da Paraíba, e manda recado para sua militância, dizendo ter “a certeza” que a decisão do TRE será revertida pelo Supremo.
Inelegível – Em novembro de 2020, foi decretada a inelegibilidade de Ricardo Coutinho, em decisão unânime do TSE, com voto do ministro-relator Og Fernandes, no julgamento das AIJEs do Empreender PB, Fiscal e PBprev.
Naquela decisão, votaram no TSE pela condenação do ex-governador três ministros do Supremo: Roberto Barroso, Edson Fachin e Alexandre de Moraes.
Com a condenação imposta pela corte, Ricardo Coutinho segue inelegível até 5 de outubro. E está impugnado porque, no momento do registro da candidatura, estava inelegível. Como também estará no dia da eleição, 2 de outubro.
